MedPlants4Vet meeting in Krakow unites experts

On July 14th and 15th 2024, members of our COST project MedPlants4Vet gathered in the beautiful city of Krakow for a hybrid meeting to reflect on the progress made since the project started in November 2023.

On July 14th and 15th members of the COST action MedPlants4Vet exchanged ideas, networked and strengthened the vision of the action.

At the event, live workshops were held for different working groups to discuss and advance their objectives for the upcoming period. The event offered a dynamic and effective platform for European researchers to come together and share knowledge and experiences, both in-person and remotely. As a result of the meeting, the MedPlants4Vet network was strengthened, and a clear vision for the project's deliverables was established.

During the same time, the International Congress of Natural Plant Research, a large international congress dedicated to medicinal plants, took place in Krakow. The congress was attended by over 1,100 participants from around the world. It was a unique opportunity for MedPlants4Vet to present our COST Action to such a large audience during the Veterinary Pre-Symposium and a poster session at the main event. It also provided an opportunity to listen to many fascinating lectures on medicinal plants and gain inspiration for the future.
