MedPlants4Vet Initiative Showcased at Biljober Farmaceuta in Sokobanja, Serbia

The MedPlants4Vet COST action was briefly presented on July 6th in Sokobanja, Serbia, during the professional training of pharmacists and doctors at the Biljober farmaceuta event.

This event focused on medicinal plants and their rational application in medicine and pharmacy. The presentation on MedPlants4Vet was well attended and received good feedback from the audience.

A total of 62 participants engaged in the event and were asked to list human medicines needed for the treatment of animals, with a particular emphasis on herbal medicines. Prof. Dragana Pavlović from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Niš and Prof. Mirjana Marčetić from the Pharmaceutical Faculty at the University of Belgrade, both members of MedPlants4Vet, were among the lecturers.
